FULLERTON, Calif., January 18, 2012- The Family Business Council (FBC), part of CSUF’s Mihaylo College, today announced its newest member, Thoro Packaging. The preeminent educational resource for family businesses in Southern California, the FBC is pleased to welcome aboard the premier packaging manufacturer to join its robust network of family business leaders.
The Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards program recognizes and celebrates the accomplishments of the Inland Empire's top entrepreneurial business leaders. Thoro Packaging has requalified as a G7™ Master Printer through the International Digital Enterprise Alliance (IDEAlliance®). Having first applied and received the qualification last year, the G7 mark demonstrates Thoro’s commitment to using the most modern technology, techniques, proofing and printing process controls and standards, required to produce high-quality printed folding carton packaging.
Thoro has once again taken home a Gold and a few Silver (Excellence) Awards in the Paperboard Packaging Council’s (PPC) annual Carton Competition. The National Paperboard Packaging Competition is the premier competition for carton manufacturers involved in the concept, design, print, performance, and shelf appeal of paperboard packaging. The 117 entries were judged by a jury of packaging professionals, industry experts, professors, and magazine publishers. All entries are weighted evenly, with the names of manufacturers unknown to the jury.
