It's day 2 at the BIG MDM WestPack show here at the Anaheim Convention Center. We enjoyed seeing so many of our customers at the show and we are looking forward to more Happy Customers stopping by our booths (#2045 and #5181).

We have been exhibiting at this show for more than a decade now and it gets better every year; it's a great show for product manufactures to attend and see what's new in packaging that can help move your product forward to the next level.

Today I was honored to participate in the panel discussion on Pillar of Planning at the two day Leadership Success Summit in Ontario California. The Convention Center was filled with so many aspiring entrepreneurs and young professionals, and I hope that I was able to answer their many questions regarding the importance of strategic planning and putting your plans into action.

Whether it's a consumer marketed gift item or a customer appreciation gift, make sure the packaging is just as memorable as the gift inside.  Sure anyone can purchase a standard gift basket, bag or box for their gift, but why not make it uniquely yours and display your brand and important message?

Santa made his annual stop at Thoro on Saturday. He was here to handout toys and gifts to children that were donated by Thoro Employees through the Angel Tree Program. It was great to see the little ones eyes light up.

Angel Tree is a Prison Fellowship program that connects parents in prison with their children through the delivery of Christmas gifts. Through Angel Tree, you can coordinate a program within your group or organization to give children in your community Christmas gifts on behalf of their incarcerated parents.

Last week Pantone Inc unveiled the hot new color for 2012, Tangerine (17-1463). The energy infused reddish-orange has already impacted fall fashions and is expected to carry through to the top designer spring lines with added complementary colors such as deep blues, earthy browns or even a dusty plum.
